hope-a-dope soap

I can get anything done quickly,
yet things can quickly do me.
I see the truth and act like I don’t,
fooling my self, not to say: won’t.

I give people the benefit of the doubt
and then some give me doubt.
then, I give them the benefit
of the doubt of the doubt.

and sometimes hurt I do.

if I don’t get bitter,
I’ll always be glitter,
and won’t ever litter,
my mess.

I only can control my side, I guess.

I can get things done quickly,
yet things can quickly do me.

and I am going to stay vulnerable.
