Sunflower

disassembled pieces of unconscious fray
how can I evolve myself today?
I ponder love, I ponder thought
I ponder can my soul be bought?

I stay up late and write it down
I’m the ghost about the town
foreign candles non-defused
I use this as my alter muse
for she has moved me to another place
a supple rolling fairy face

and I April ponder
our midnight wander,
seeking balloons and circus bears
no-fret toss of all our cares
and the energy system opens,
‘cuse some thing’s you just can’t stop.

and now I wonder what you would like
could I suppease your appetite?
I move to goal dangle whisper touch
is there anyone you could love so much?

so I banter moves of cosmic breath
to resurrect my love from death . . .
and I catch my self there . . .
just in enough time
cause baby, rhyme isn’t something I always do.

and for you?
who knew?
and as this anger construed
it was our love that brewed....

so I whisper night of relative space
of time of woman of beautiful face
along to jam on to the tune
holding hands, distant afternoons

tough girl wander through the streets
gnawing leather jerky meats
with trees and books and autumn leaves
no internal combustion wanna leave

for ponder color within my band
or for my gogo-gadget hands
for you I’d take to all the clubs
you + me, 40 candles, my bathtub

cause I can move and banter art
and I could love your past apart
or force my way onto your heart
now all we have to do is start...
